Wilkinsons Champions 2009

On Sunday the 15th November the band competed at the 2009 Wilkinsons Northern Open and were declared the winners with 192 points. The band played Philip Sparke's 'Music of the Spheres' which adjudicator David Horsfield complimented for it's excitement and overall band sound. He also awarded the band prizes for the best overall soloist and best soprano cornet player.
