Thank you for visiting the website of the Hammonds Band. As one of the country’s premier brass bands we have performed in venues throughout the UK, Europe and across the World.

Founded in 1855 as the Saltaire Band by Sir Titus Salt as one of the amenities for the workers at his recently opened mill. Later the band had a long association with Hammonds Sauce Works under the baton of the legendary Geoffrey Whitham. It is from these two parts of our past that we now perform under our current name, Hammonds Band, under the direction of Morgan Griffiths.

To book the band please contact the band manager via the contact page. We can provide two different ensembles. The full band with percussion or an 8 to 10 piece group for smaller venues.
